Hello, I’m Shasa Bolton, the designer and maker behind Contraption Cart. I’m a mechanical engineer with a passion for mechanisms, craftsmanship, and objects that spark curiosity.
In my shop you’ll find a collection of mechanical creations including automata, puzzle boxes, magic tricks, and kinetic toys. Many designs are available either as fully assembled pieces or as DIY kits, allowing you to experience the joy of building the mechanism yourself.
Alongside my own designs, I take on commissioned work in mechanical sculpture, animatronics, and product design.
